PVZGW Multiplayer network issues

We are having the same issue on PS4, but it says it has found a game for us to join but then the screen goes black and the little flower in the bottom right corner just spins and spins...what to do?

    Having the same issue on my XBOX 1 . . . PVZGW2 error message regarding multiplayer! ☹️
