PvZ:GW PS3 character customization issues

Last night, our son mentioned having trouble with the game remembering his character skin customizations which was really frustrating him.  :manmad:  I also logged into my account and am pretty sure I had customized my characters some too but noted they were all back to the default/stock build.  

Were there issues in general with Origin servers last night around 9pm?  Would that have caused this?  Are these customizations saved on the console side or on the server side?  If server side only, is anyone looking into patching/updating the game so it might cache these locally and sync them up later when the server is available, most recent dated changes win?  It would be nice especially when services (Origin, PSN, ISP) are off-line so at least something can be done in game.

If there were issues, will his customizations be restored or does he have to reconfigure them all?  Thanks in advance for your time!

    No, I don't recall seeing any error message or anything out of the ordinary during game startup.

    yes I have actually. it was fine in the morning but towards 6pm it started having problems. the customisation couldn't be saved and the settings well. I'm in Singapore time zone by the way.

    I do have similar problem today 

    I am living in HK and the platform is ps4

    Actually when starting up the game, it stated that the it can't retrieve my saved data 

    The game is working nicely but all customization(appearance, ability, etc) cannot be loaded successfully

    I have tried to reset my rounter, ps4 

    Also, I have try to uninstall pvz on my ps4 and the result is still the same

    Please fix it , thanks!

    Judging from other posts around the boards at the same time yours were, I'd say it was server issues.

    Multiple people reported 'Failed to retrieve save data' which is exactly the reason that causes customization not to save on character.

    They're saying it's fixed, so try again now.
