Just wondering why the plants side suck!!! i notice after first few goes in a match i end up with only 1 card a time with no way of beating the zombies..... plus i have no water plants.... and how come zombies get a trick and plants dont?
Since you claim to be a newer player it would appear that the zombies are overpowering. As you collect more cards and play more, you will realize this game is pretty well balanced and each plant or hero has their own strengths and weaknesses. If you run out of cards quickly, perhaps you should change your decks and cards for more card drawing.
Play around with your deck and not all new players can win easily as plants or zombies.
as for water plants try a bean deck
uhh...you don't need to collect more cards to have plants be strong, the base chompzilla/wall knight deck they give you for third hero is already strong, not to mention those are 2 of the strongest hero out there. Well mostly cuz they are solar, which is the strongest class.
you also don't need any water plants if you play solar haha, i don't use any.
