quickdraw con man

OVERPOWERED  AND UNFAIR

But for the latest update, there is a card called “ QuickDraw con man “ .. sorry for the language but it’s ***** crazy, unfair and stupid !!! It’s sooo cheap ( the cheapest cost could ever be ) , so powerful special power with a bullseye!! and so strong on health !!! And yet it’s only super rare !!!!!!!!!!!! It’s making the game really sick and provoking , every zombie player with crazy class has the 4 cards and they are always played in the first turn, it’s health is 4 so it will surely last for the second round and every plant that’s put infront of it will be excuted easily ( because of the crazy class ) and not even berry blast can take it down because it’s 4 health !!!! So I have to sacrifice 2 berry blasts and maybe a plant and at least take 4 bullseye damage for a card that’s only super rare and costs ONLY 1 !!!! That’s the best case scenario  I faced, imagine playing against 2 of them in the 2 second round or sometimes 3 in the second !!!!!! Absolutely provoking and upsetting !!!! I almost faced that scenario 8 or 9 times yesterday!!!!!

And in the other side, look at the kabloom class, the card that’s similar to these characteristics is the astro shroom and it’s ridiculous, only 1 health !!! And I have to play a plant to hit the hero with a 1 bullseye but it’s so hard to preserve it because it’s so weak , and yet it costs one and it’s super rare just like QuickDraw con man !!!

you must do something about it !!! .. I can'yt bear the paralysis I feel when I face this thing it’s really overpowered and provoking

Make it not bullseye /decrease it’s health and make it cost more than one please do anything about it every crazy zombie player that starts with 2 quickdraw con man is winning almost every game and i can’t do anything
It was carelessly designed and put in the game
Adjust it please.. thanks

I just find it a little irritating that Plants have, by my count, 11 cards (12 if we include Galacta-Cactus), spread across 4 classes, that can do direct damage to a Zombie hero outside of combat:

    Heartichoke

    Sportacus

    Admiral Navy Bean

    Grapes of Wrath

    Dandy Lion King

    Electric Blueberry

    Sonic Bloom

    Sergeant Strongberry

    Punish-Shroom

    Astro-Shroom

    Mirror-Nut

By contrast, Zombies have 5, and they're all in Crazy class:

    Quickdraw Con Man

    Jester

    Tankylosaurus

    Flamenco Zombie

    Gas Giant

Not only that, but compared to some of the other ones, QCM's ability is a little lack-luster.  Yes, he'll get in an extra damage each turn, plus more of the Plant player draws more cards, but if you put in too much card-gifting, you're just helping the opponent once they take out the QCM.

I'm not saying he may not need a slight balancing; I'm just saying Zombie players who have faced countless Admiral Navy Beans or Heartichokes may have trouble mustering up too much sympathy for the Plants' plight.

My frustration is more to the fact that what was once a semi active forum, where there were decent debate and conversations, and the clique peas incident was a flicker of what has become. It seems like the majority of the posters from a few months ago have dissipated, and I do realize that everything is a fad to some extent and some people may have just gone back to randomly checking in, rather than posting pics of a funny thing in a game, or something weird that happened ingame etc, or even asking for help or questions about whether this is possible or something like that....and now its same thing over and over again.

I echo the sentiment.  A few months back I felt this forum was more fun to participate in.  After the dozenth post on QCM, it's boring to participate because I don't care to repeat myself and I like to think I only post when I have something worthwhile to contribute (your perception of my post's value may vary 🙂 ).

Congo dancer also can do 1 damage when comes into play. And triassic will bring a dancing zombie similar to admiral navy bean....just wait for the drama....
And you also left out berry blast, precision blast, and ground pound. They are all direct damage. And final mission. But in any case, plants do have plenty of direct damage

Zombie player claiming things are unfair right now. Not something you see often.

Who said anything about it being unfair?  I don't mind a disparity in playstyles (since the game is asymmetric anyway); I'm just saying it seems odd that some Plant players are up in arms about a lesser version of what Zombie players have been dealing with for some time.

  • If you reread your post that’s pretty much what you’re saying without using the term “unfair”. If not then we can agree you are just making a * for tat argument with your trouble having sympathy comment. I get it. You’re a zombie player. Things were tilted the other way a while back and now you’re on the favorable side. If I had to guess it’s going to swing the other way soon and people on the other side will be complaining things are unfair.

Ive been waiting for you to post. Nice to see you still pop in, if nothing else to look? Either way it good to see a name from a few months ago.
I agree with you, and have been saying for a while that the second half of the set is going to have a similar effect, just for different heroes.
I just hope that there's not a repeat of the past couple months, and I also hope that it doesn't turn from bickering to gloating and vice versa.
And he wasn't saying that zombies have it unfairly. It was just like you said, a * for tat, but when this thread was started with a conman to Astroshroom comparison, it's a decent point, and yeah I'm a zombie that plays plants, but I do play plants, and see both sides of the argument.
I still would like to know what would have been if all was just as it is except, clique peas never got neutered, and were still a powerhouse....

👊🏻  I still keep an eye on things but you’re right from one of your earlier post, boards have been rough for a while. I hope the devs can bring more balance to the game here soon. Asroshroom is absolutely a great card. In my opinion it’s much easier to counter than a QCM with only one health though.

i still have a few plant decks I can win  with more than I lose. It seems like there’s only a few heros I can win consistently at the moment with but it is what it is.
