Correct. They didnt include A split Screen option for the Xbox 360 Version, only the Xbox One version.

Have you thought about upgrading? It would be cheaper and Easier just to buy the X1 as you only need 1 copy of the game and 1 Xbox live subscription.

EDIT:

So to clarify, You can NOT play Split Screen with your son on the Xbox 360.

If you want to play Garden Warfare on the Same TV, you will need the Xbox ONE version of the game. Then you can play "split screen" and you only need the 1 Xbox live gold account. Unlke the Xbox 360, The xbox one lets you only pay for 1 Gold account and then you can share that with your family.

thx, so if i buy x1 i can play with or against my son pvz garden warfare at home together, and one need one console and one game and one membership? thanks

You can play with him in Garden Ops mode but you cant play against him in Multiplayer.
So to do this you need. 1 Xbox One console, 1 Copy of the game, 1 Xbox live GOLD account (any accounts linked to that console will automatically be upgraded to Gold, so you only need to PAY for one) and 2 Controllers.
You will also noticed that the game looks better and plays alot smoother becasue it has a higher framerate.

Not on the Xbox 360...no. Only on the New Xbox One. They are different consoles.

thx, can i play with him at home with a 360 and a x1 console, with each of us on each separate console? also can he play with a friend who has an 360 and he has an x1 console on the same pvz garden warfare game? thanks again lol

No, Xbox one players can only play with other Xbox one players.

So to clarify, You need to buy an Xbox One console in order to play on the same TV. If you do decide to buy an Xbox one console, he would only be able to play with other Xbox one players and of course, you, via splitscreen.

After saying all this, i hope the Xbox one is available in your country lol where abouts are you from?

first thx for your help in clarification, lol i just want to bet my son on a game, lol usa,
just bought 360 and thought i could play with him in the pvz garden warfare at home, what a fing rackett, lol

Well yes the Xbox One is available there, its a bit expensive but you can trade in your xbox 360 and get it cheaper.

Basically its cheaper then buy another Xbox 360 and Tv 🙂
