Did you try switching to Google DNS 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4?

im using wifi but tried wired and same result. 

Also have just tried changing dsn and that didn’t work either. 

I went on to other ea games and logged in to them perfectly fine. It’s just pvz bfn.

There will be a Server Maintenance coming Today, at 11am PST / 6pm BST, and Servers will be down for 4 hours.

If you'd like, you can wait til the update is over, and see if you're able to get into the game.

after the update was installed the game still continues to not log me in. I’ve sat here trying and trying, even giving it time and coming back and it still won’t log me in

It’s been almost two weeks and I still can’t login to pvz bfn. I’ve tried all the things you’ve suggested and nothing works. I’ve paid for a game I can’t even play. I need serious help!

I have the same issue and I have been in contact with EA Support several times over the weekend. Waiting for a promised e-mail with some supposedly magical fix. I'll keep you posted...

I’ve been waiting for like 2 weeks for that email still haven’t got it 

I'm sorry to report that I have literally spent (wasted!) 1.5 hours with a chat agent, who was brain-shatteringly incompetent and unable to answer the simple question about the supposed e-mail I was promised. It finally emerged that my case is still with "the experts" and they have no solution at hand. Or at least I think that was the reply I finally got. 😞

ETA: It might be "fun" to know that they don't consider our issues of any importance, because - and I quote - "it has only happened to one in a thousand". So, don't expect anything much to happen in a while. 

Thanks heaps for getting back to me about it and I expected this to happen so best to do what I’ve done and move on to the next game 😂 as crap as it is what other options do we have at this point...

Have you guys found any solution? Sometimes it says "Failed to retrieve patch etc.." or "Login to Psn" i mean what is this i can play other online games normally this doesn't make any sense

The game is not even for me it's for my little brother and he can't play it since this began to happen. Before this he could play it normally

I just get the message "You were logged out of PSN Network and EA servers" or something similar.

I can log in fine to SW Battlefront, although I haven't actually tried Pvz GW2. 

This was a game I enjoyed playing with my son, so you can imagine the heartbreak for him right now, especially since having been able to play for the first 2-3weeks of having the Founder's Edition. 

Yeah i know, i'm in the same situation. Hope someone could give a solution to us

Has there been a resolution to this issue? I bought the game for Christmas and I'm having the same issue. 

My son is upset but I will be taking this game back and never purchasing a Plants Vs Zombies game again. How can you not even acknowledge this is an issue?

Was having Trouble bur resolved like this:
Trouble :unable to login at this time... When I wanted to add my sons account or even my EA account.

Closed app, logged in as son created a new account.

Everything then worked.
Split screen soon as I logged in with my account, (logged in to playstation then hit square 

possible reasons for issue. I was logged in already on an PSN linked to EA account and EA wont let my 8 year old have an account so tweaked his age, then I was trying to this "adult" account to my account which is not allowed.
Simply Linking a new account in game for kids worked.

How did you link it in game? I am having a same problem with logging in, sometimes I have to restart the game or attempt to login five times before it will work

Same here.  Same problem.  No help, just useless information and hours of wasted time.  Before anyone offers helpful advice, "yes, my PS4 is turned on and connected to the internet".  The game worked fine one day, Then the next day it didn't.  Nothing changed.  The only games that don't play are EA games.  I've gotten no help, no answers, just anger and frustration with EA and their useless company.  

I have log in issues on PS4 also and have tried everything. EA does not know how to fix it.

Why can't you fix pvf bfn?
