Re: Disc no longer working on Xbox 1s

@Crustycrab18 Hi, I know you made this post a while ago now but I am having the exact same issue at the moment with my bfn disc. It has suddenly just stopped working. My xbox just says insert disc everytime but will play others as normal. Iv done re installs and reset the console etc but nothing is working. Did you manage to get a solution that fixed your problem? Thanks

    Hey there, @Tryoxis.

As your post was specific to Battle for Neighborville, I moved it from the GW2 forums to the Battle for Neighborville tech forums for the best assistance.

Just to rule it out, what is the status of the disc? Is it clean and without scratches?

@EA_Arrenai I do have a topic on here under " disc won't load on xbox" but every trouble shooting suggestion hasn't worked. The disc will work fine in another xbox no problem but has just suddenly stopped in my xbox. It just says insert disc. But all other discs load and work fine.

@Tryoxis Hey,I'm seeing some gameplay this morning, are you able to get in and load as normal? Or is that playing on the console that accepts the disc?

If you still have issues, can you try these steps, they're a little different to the ones in your other thread.

    • Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

    • Select System > Settings > General > Power mode & startup.

    • Select Power mode, and then select Energy-saving.

    • Perform a "hard power cycle" by holding down the Xbox button  on the console for 10 seconds. Once the console has completely shut down, press the Xbox button  on the console again to restart it.

    • Try your disc again. Wait a few seconds to see if the console recognizes it. If the console can now read the disc, you can revert to instant-on power mode.
