I don't think they should be given any leeway on this. If they are selling a product then they need to be prepared to make sure it works. If they want to dump their old game then it is their job to communicate that and remove it from storefronts. Leaving it up for sale means they are responsible and should not be cut any slack for "game is old so it's not realistic" It's their choice to leave it up for sale. Doesn't matter how obvious it is, it's blatantly immoral.

    @Masked_KoopaTM If PopCap would remove it from all storefronts the community would also complain due to a falling number of players. It's still a fun game to play. Sure, PopCap should make clear that a major feature of the game was deactivated and put it on sale.
  • It's their responsibility to make sure that customers know they are not getting the full product, yes. The whole point is that it's not our job to juggle costs for them, and it is their responsibility to make sure anything they sell is functional and as advertised.
