Re: Garden Ops coins earned

Most coins earned in Garden Ops depends on solely what difficulty you play on.

If you play on easy, you definitely won't be getting too much coins. However, if you play on something like CRAZZZZZZY difficulty, then you will be getting around 16k - 32k each full game. I highly recommend playing by yourself if you're going to be playing on CRAZZZZZZY difficulty. The reason for this is because with a full team it becomes near impossible to finish because of how many special zombies spawn in later on.

  • I play on hard as I have done Crazy mode and it is rather hard unless you find an high spot to camp on. But hard gets me around 6 k coins, which is not much at all.

  • You're positive that you're only getting 6k coins on hard mode?

Did you join a match late? Did you or your entire party not make it to Dave's RV to receive full coin bonuses? Both these questions are possible reasons why you only received 6k coins.

Average coin amount for a hard mode game is 10k - 15k.

  • I usually get top of the team, and is almost always the only one to escape as I lap the map and get back to the RV with like 10 seconds left before it goes and escapes, and I get around 6-7k a game, and I start from the start as well.

  • You also get a fairly large coin bonus for playing with fewer people, not sure how few people is required but I don't believe a full game gets any bonus.

I played Garden Ops to show how much coins I received through hard mode (solo): http://imgur.com/a/GLQMa

With at least 80 critical kills, 2 bonus objectives completed, 7 perfect waves, no bonus garden, and full match, I was able to amass more than 14k coins from a single hard mode game. In hard mode: bonus objectives give 1,250 coins, a perfect wave will rack you up 125 coins, wave 5 gives 625 coins, and wave 10 gives 1,250 coins (double if super boss wave). Without the bonus objectives nor the perfect waves, I still would've received at least a little over 11k coins.

I'm not 100% certain that being by yourself allows for more coins as I wasn't paying attention to it at the time I was testing out the coin value today. I wanted to show more, but only got to play one full game before I lost connection to EA servers so I'll have to show the rest tomorrow for those eager to see the results.

  • The results: http://imgur.com/a/Dgmh6 ~ 22k coins in a single match (I got a total of 4k coins in the slots mind you). This time, I got around the same number of critical kills, only one bonus objective completed, 4 perfect waves, no bonus garden, and full match.

For crazy mode: everything is the same except perfect waves are now 250 coins, wave 5 gives 1,250 upon completion, more zombies, and finishing will give slightly more coins than finishing Garden Ops in hard mode, thus proving that the higher the difficulty, the higher the rewards.

Also found out that soloing a Garden Ops match will let you receive 3k coins at the end and having your whole team survive will only double whatever the escape bonus may be. Since the zombies spawn less when there's less people and you get way more by yourself, it's more rewarding to play solo than in a team.

After all this evidence, how are you only getting around 6k coins in a hard mode match? I'm just curious and wanting to solve your issue you're having. I just don't understand how you say you're always on the top of the leaderboard in Garden Ops yet you can't earn past 6k coins.

  • I will do a test, I will play garden ops co-op hard and try my best to do well, its just the team-mates really. And I will see how many coins I earn and reply back.
