Re: Gardens and Graveyards issue.

Plants are a little underpowered, the problem is the Peashooter is holding them back. He's too strong and does too much, which keeps other Plants from the spotlight.

The map you're talking about, Wal-Nut Hills, is definitely a problem for plants. They lose every time, there's nothing they can do on the last phase. On the other two maps, it's pretty much impossible for Plants to lose. It's a little out of whack right now, hope they do something.

I'm sorry but that makes literally no sense at all... they are underpowered but they are overpowered... how would the Pea hold back an entire team by being OP!?... I honestly don't think they are OP at all and i wreck them 90% of the time on my All-star. The thing about them is that a lot of people play them and this leads to a lot of deaths from them. If any of the classes are OP it's the All-star, amazing damage, with the right abilities he can fire pretty much NON STOP without a reload or cooldown his range is great, high hp, a shield and one hell of a nasty explosive attack on top of a speedy tackle dash that deals a lot of damage and evades just about everything including chompers.

@wolfmoon2682 he one of those kids that likes to cry nerf that nerf this nerf that and this just to ruin the game nothing in plants vs zombies garden warfare is overpowered because as the lead dev said in a viddoc all class are well blanced to take on each other and he also goes to say that charcter will get different attacks further down the road but they will not be nerfing anything due to the fact they had planed and balanced all charcters to have strghs and weaknesses

wolfmoon, the plants overall are a bit underpowered, but Peashooter is overtuned and it's this overpowered nature that makes plants appear to be balanced. This is reflected by the fact that you see 10 Peashooters every game and rarely do you see similar numbers of other plants. The takeaway from this is fairly simple. People play Peashooter almost exclusively, and even if you have deniers (the guy above me), play tendency is more indicative of the truth. And the trend is that the majority of every plant team consists of Peashooters, with very little exception.

You mentioned All-Star being great, and yes he is an amazing character. However, Chompers deal with him easily, but since people are more inclined to play Peashooters because of their overtuned multi-kill potential, Chomper doesn't get chosen, and you can pull off some good plays with All-Star. Given that, you might think Peashooter spam is a self-correcting problem since it enables All-Stars to do extremely well, but the simple fact is that playing a Peashooter is the optimal choice 90% of the time, and that is a problem.

At the end of the day you see a fairly diverse Zombie team in most games. On the Plant team, you do not. You see 10 Peashooters, 1 Cactus, and 1 Sunflower, or a variation of that. This is a health problem for the game, and it will have negative implications on the game's longevity if power is not taken from the Peashooter and redistributed amongst other Plants (who, by comparison, are weaker.)

It is fairly self-evident that Peashooter's kit is packed with too much. The Chili Bean Bomb's radius is absurd, and it gives very little cue as to where it is or how far it is on its detonation sequence. Also take into consideration Hyper. Not only is it a speed boost, but let's Peashooter jump 3x or more. The Zombie roof fighter counterpart, Foot Soldier, jumps once and that's all the ability does. But most people already know all of this.

I hope this cleared up my thought process for you.

I don't think the Peashooter is OP at all, i think he's noob friendly. I can do far more for my team with the cactus and sunflower than i can a Peashooter. Sure he does good damage and has a nice grenade like ability, but his health is only 125, his fire rate is low, and his reload time is terrible. Also his gattling leaves him vulnerable to attack especially inp punts.

I just don't see why everyone has so much trouble killing him. The only trouble he gives me, is he is fast and presents a small target, but i have more trouble with the sunflower and those sneaky chompers than the Peashooter, i LOL when they get on top of a roof because an All-star can take them out in seconds from any distance. Peashooter is overrated bro.
