Re: Level glitch

I have checked my account and everything including unlocked upgrades, victory slabs and cosmetic items are all still there. I still have the same currency, rainbow stars and bulbs as before.

The only thing to have affected me is all the ranks of my characters being reset.

Everything is normal exept ranks on my characters and my overall rank.

Same here it happend to my account to. I have all customize, prize bulbs, challenges, upgrades, stars, coins, marshmallows, tacos, sheriff badges in game like before. But my stats went down from about 550 level to 175 then I loged out and in again and i was a beginner at level 1 it restarted the hole game!!! So I loged out again and loged in then I was 175 again in level. I had some characters with grand master badges the badges was gone. But i could promote some of the characters again and went up in level to 224. But it is not right stars under the characters and my stats in both plants and zombies they are not right at all! Exampel my peashooter I had grand master 2 but now it shows only 2 stars and it is only specialist but I have all the upgrades so how can the upgrades be as before? My acorn i was super elite but now it is only recruit!!! But in upgrades it shows that every upgrades was unlocked  up to super elite. Some cara I spend so much time on this game but now it feels like starting over! All the stats is wrong that I have now. Please fix it!

Hello, I am trying to gather additional information that may be relevant.  Can you do a sweep check of your account and see if there are any other oddities in these areas?

- Do your challenges show up as normal?

Challenges appear to be normal, and are the same challenges as when I left the game a few days ago. Character challenge opened is Sunflower, same progress as before I lost all my other data. 

- Do your pages in Cool Stats appear as normal?  (My Stats, Region Stats, Plant Stats, Zombie Stats)

My Stats appears to be not correct, only captures today's session

Region Stats appears to be somewhat correct (while looking at this, the game broke a bit, dumped me out of the public server with a "Oh no the host ended the session!" notice). The Total Region Completion Percentage is what I remember as being correct, as are the Medals and Gnomes, but the Marshmallows, Badges, and Tacos are all zero. However, when I'm at the Cool Stats page, the Resources lists some Marshmallows, Badges, and Tacos. I think they're correct, but not positive. 

Plant Stats is NOT correct, it only lists today's session. 

Zombie Stats is weird, it lists some time for Engineer and Scientist, although I haven't played them today.

- Has any of your progress in the PVE regions been reset?

No, seems to be correct.

- Are you missing any upgrades you have unlocked?

So far, the Upgrades seem to be there and intact for most characters (I haven't checked them all, but can if you need)

- Are you missing any cosmetics you believe you have unlocked?

They all seem to be there.

- Are you missing any punchers or tombstones you believe you have unlocked?

They all seem to be there.

- Do your currencies appear to be the correct value?  Rainbow stars, coins, prize bulbs, marshmallows, tacos, sheriff badges?
I believe so, although I don't keep super close track. Related, the things purchased with tacos from Seargent Peel still seem to be there.

Also for anyone who has not provided yet, can you please share the platform (Xbox / PS4 / PC) and gamertag if comfortable?

When I logged in today, it led me through the new game dialogue, I had to collect the little sunflower stuffies, I had all of the new character dialogue with the other characters (like the Catcus near the jump off point to Giddy Park, need to collect the golden fish and the pies, etc.).

Otherwise seem to be similar to most folks here, was near level 900 with a few characters Grand Mastered to 10 or something and now it's all gone. 

Just in case, I did the good ol' "have you tried turning it off and on again", closed the game, restarted PS4, restarted game, still missing the levels.

All my unlocked characters are now showing as Master rank. This is better than them all being recruit but I'm not sure I can get the last trophy for promoting 20 characters to master rank now.

Mine aren't ☹️

I'm told from the team that the data should have been restored.

@EquinoxPSN Can you explain in detail what your remaining issue is?  I'm told from the data, all of your characters except for Wizard and Wildflower were already master.  Is the issue that after the data was restored, those two characters are now master and you cannot get the rewards you would have obtained for hitting those milestones?

Before everything went wrong I was working on Super Brainz and Acorn to get them to master rank. They were both on Elite or Super Elite rank so I was close to getting both to Master rank. They were to be the 19th and 20th promotions to Master rank for the final trophy in the game (promote 20 characters to Master rank).

After the restore they were put to Master rank (where they weren't previously) therefore I could no longer promote them for this final trophy as they are already there.

Therefore I have now unlocked Wizard and Wild Flower characters to try and get them both to Master rank. I'm just hoping with all the wiping and restoring of data, the game remembers I've already promoted 18 characters and these two extra characters count as 19 and 20 for the last trophy.

Please don't make any further adjustments or restores to my account now as I've made progress in levelling up these final two characters. Another week or so I should have both at Master rank and I'll keep my fingers crossed this last trophy unlocks.

@EquinoxPSN Out of curiosity, do your Super Brainz and Acorn characters have all of the upgrades unlocked now?  Did you also rank up / level those characters in between the time the issue occurred and the fix was applied?

I'm not sure if all the upgrades are unlocked on Super Brainz and Acorn tbh. I've not really used them since the issue/restore.

I did play those characters a little bit after the issue first struck. Whilst every other character I'd got to Master rank was put back to recruit, these two retained some of their levelling up, each being reduced in rank by one level. I therefore thought I'd just carry on getting them both up to Master rank.

As mentioned before, when the restore happened they were both suddenly at Master rank without me having promoted them to that rank. This is preferable to before the restore but not much good regards to the last trophy as I wasn't able to promote them to that rank myself.

I've since been chipping away at Wizard and Wild Flower and should hopefully be able to promote them both to Master rank soon and fingers crossed the game registers them as the 19th and 20th characters to be promoted to Master rank for this final trophy.

@EquinoxPSN Please check the upgrades if you can.  If they are missing they are unobtainable without going through the promotion process, and this becomes a larger issue if this occurred for more players.
