Re: Nightcap tips

@gametrieuk Thanks for crediting me! I have to agree with most of your tier list, maybe not with Steam Blaster though, I can easily work around them. As Nightcap, I almost find them a piece of cake to deal with.

Well written post.

@benn1nat0rI use Nightcap to Shadow Sneak away when a Steam Blaster approaches or gets close to me, and move back a distance before attacking.

If I start to get damaged by the Steam, I quickly use Casting Shadows and Shadow Sneak to get away before reattacking. I have only ever used Fung Fu on Steam Blasters who are unaware of my presence at first.

I may also jump around erratically when fighting one.

    EDIT: Typo.

@TheSprinter85 I also try that but the Steam Blasters I play against always look at the shadow on the ground Shadow Sneak creates. I can't really escape fast enough.

@benn1nat0rIf you do not already do this with Nightcap, try moving and jumping in less predictable patterns so that your Steam Blaster foes find it harder to track them, or try and sneak past them, rather than trying to get away from them, that could also work.

I also find that the Thorn Apart Legendary Upgrade for Rose is really useful against Steam Blasters. You can use your secondary attack to instavanquish Steam Blasters with 4 or more orbs charged. Good luck getting away from that Steamy friends - it has homing and you have no time to heal! Rose in general is an excellent character against them because the Jinx can increase damage they take from all sources, Arcane Enigma can be used to get away from them or to your team, Goatify can render them almost useless for a short time, not to mention they already have low health.

In my upcoming Legendary Upgrades Guides, I will also add enemies that can counter the Legendary Upgrades, to make it easier to counteract them.

@TheSprinter85 Thanks for the tips! I still seem to encounter extremely toxic Steam Blasters all the time, so most of them don't really help in that case. Against "normal" Steam Blasters they're great, however! 🙂

@TheSprinter85 In a way it is possible to win it without difficulty, but looking for a battle with it is situational for Nightcap, if Nightcap is with parkour it probably won't die, but it will take a lot of pressure from the steam blaster, and I also put the scientist and steam blaster a little bit upwards not because of the damage or the battle being difficult, as they are healers, and in BFN healing makes a lot of difference, the normal scientist can do his part of healing, but he has no way to survive enemies who tried to get him out, making him run away, but steam will heal a little less really, but he becomes an impossible healer, he will practically decrease the DPS of the nightcap to 30, if you try to get closer he will probably be close to a group and you will be blown up, and if nothing goes, he will easily escape.
