Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 1 refuses to launch.

Whenever I try to launch the game, it tries to open but fails and takes me back to EA App. I have tried clearing caches, running as adminstrator, using compatibility settings, repairing and reinstalling, disabling in game overlay but nothing works. I bought the game on EA PLAY. A fun fact is that i can perfectly run and play PvZ GW 2
