Re: PC performance info gathering thread.

I fixed overheating before, but the patch actually slowed my game .

Only had 10 minutes to test. Game is MUCH smoother, haven't had time to fully test sensitivity. My CPU is still going at 100% and I can stir fry veggies on it.

I removed the ability for laptop to boost itself with voltage and to sync  frequency so it consumes less energy, I mentioned it before.. Also, game doesn't like balanced energy plan. After latest windows update it run smoother in multiplayer. The patch make the whole game(AI, me)slow, which is terribly bad only in PvP, since PvE runs with the same speed as you.

@voidlistener That's quite strange, do you have a clip of this slowed-down game? Do you monitor your CPU/GPU usage when this happens?

@AudacityTheRose That certainly sounds odd. If you haven't done so recently can you try a clean install of your drivers and see if that changes anything?

@L3Mall That sounds like a separate issue, perhaps a new thread is better? It may be worth trying steps like a Clean Boot, and/or tweaking settings to see if that helps with stability?

@MilchBuby_FAZE Do you still have stuttering issues, or a different issue?

    Thanks.

  • @EA_David My cpu still reaches 90 degrees celcius before getting to the actual game so in the loading screen. Task manager shows pvz bfn using up all the cpu

@MilchBuby_FAZE Same here. Maxed out CPU the instant the game launches. It's a lot smoother for sure, but it's brutal on my CPU and will still freeze for a few seconds at random intervals due to this.
  • Oh and also my game doesn´t even load, there is just black screen when i start the game.

  • Are there still problems in the final game (stutter, fps drops, blur) ?

Can't test it, because I already have refunded it.

Also get a black screen and crash on start-up. I wonder if my Intel i7-4790s processor does not meet system requirements?

  • @EA_David Pls just tell me how to refund the game it is actually unplayable and now that it has officially launched and nothing has changed I don't really see why i shouldn't refund it
