Re: Random crashes and flashing red boxes all over [PC]

@MRayDud Hey, do you have an image of this happening?

It sounds like a driver issue, you can post a dxdiag and we can take a closer look if you like: https://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/

As part of the dxdiag process you should also be able to see your card, and then you can check for some up-to-date drivers.

Thanks.

Can I printscreen while in fullscreen mode?

Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6670 (Probably not the problem, right?)

    (I'm brazillian and a 13 year old, K?)

Thank you guys. I'm going to see if I can fix my issue after school. And also, thanks for the brazillian link, but the translations sound very strange. I prefer to stick with the english site. 😃

I looked over and my graphics card driver is up to date. I have my uncle's old one somewhere around but I think it is almost the same thing as the one I'm using right now. I may have to buy something better, but I don't know about the overheating problem. I think I can sell both of the graphics cards and buy a better one. What else can I do dudes?

You'll need to make certain the GPU's fan is running, and that there isn't lint blocking any airflow anywhere, such as inside the fan shroud on the GPU.

It is running. What now? Back to the graphics card?

Found the other graphics card. It's an AMD Radeon HD 6850 Sapphire (1GB GDDR5, whatever that means). Is this better than the current?

@MRayDud That does appear to be significantly better, yes.

If you are comfortable swapping cards, do so and try a clean driver install, then check the game again.

    Thanks.

The HD 6850 was a high end GPU four years ago that still has plenty of power for this game.  It is a major Amps-User, though, if you don't have a high end power supply to match to it.

Your HD 6670 was in the "medium" class four years ago, but time and progress is leaving it behind, in the low performance area now.  It didn't need a particularly large power supply.

Your current comment does not relate to either of the two responses you received recently.  We were writing about HARDWARE and now you are going on about software instead, and suddenly adding a totally unrelated GPU source.  It sounds to me that you need to go through this entire message thread and figure out where you are in the troubleshooting process.

You may find you are unable to determine what you need to do to such an extent that self-help isn't practical.  The official customer support may be a better idea for you.

We will presume that you took your problem to Help Center, as suggested, and the Game Adviser there got this sorted out for you.

I'm really sorry. I thought that I had the right thing, until my uncle told me the graphics card that was in the box was NVIDIA, and that the Radeon was in some old pc. The Radeon is running now, but those red boxes keep appearing. It may be due to some issue with AMD graphics, but I can live with it. I just have to thank you guys for the help.

@MRayDud While the card is a solid one, it seems that the 6900-series cards had support discontinued late last year, so I suspect that this could be part of the issue. New drivers stopped coming back then, which I suspect is a factor with the red boxes appearing.
