Hello @iluminatethesky , I'm on xbox, and yes we holding down the X button and immediately after it brings up that error. We have even tried in offline mode, and tried making a private match and still no luck :
Hey @Paytok
Thanks for the heads up.
Can you try clearing your MAC Address, and doing a hard reset on your Console?
Go to Settings, Network, Advanced Settings, Alternate MAC Address, and Clear. Then fully turn off your Console for 30 seconds or so, and turn it back on.
Also, can you highlight Battle for Neighborville on the Home Screen, go to Manage Game, and make sure everything is up to date?
Thanks 🙂

@iluminatethesky There was an update and we tried again after, there was no change. 1st chance I get I will try your other suggestion. Thank you
Sounds good, let me know if that works for you.
I'll also bring this up, and see if there's any other information and/or suggestions for this.

@iluminatethesky So we cleared the MAC, still same issue. I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling as a last resort lol. I will let you know if anything good comes out of it
@iluminatethesky Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix issue either.
Thanks for the heads up.
I will see if I can find out more information about this.
In the meantime, both accounts have Xbox Live correct?
Thanks 🙂

@iluminatethesky yep. The strange part that I forgot to mention is the 1st time we played we had no problem and were able to play split screen right away. The 2nd time and every time after that we have not been able to play split screen

I believe when you played first, your wife's account may have gotten linked to your account, which can lead to this issue.
If you create a new account as a test and log in with that to a solo game of BFN first, can you use this in Split-screen as a test/potential workaround? - @Paytok We have the same issue on PS4. Logged it weeks ago but still no fix!
@SaSwingOut @iluminatethesky @EA_David This morning I signed my profile into another xbox then signed back in on mine while my my wife's profile was playing the game and the split screen worked..... I don't know if it's a fluke or not. After the holiday festivities will try again and see if it works again lol. Not the ideal fix either way

@Paytok Thank you for the info. Please let us know if the fixed state persists.
@EA_DavidThis is still broken for me.
Three accounts on Xbox.
Accounts 1 and 2 have the same Origin ID for some reason, no idea why. Cannot play together.
Account 3 has a different Origin ID and can play split screen with accounts 1 and 2.
This problem doesn't exist on other EA games, like GW2 or Star Wars Battlefront 1 & 2. It's some sort of bug with BFN and how it handles accounts.
