Have you tried deleting the app and re-downloading? If that doesn't work, try soft resetting your phone, it's basically a phone reboot that tries to solve any bugs or mishaps the hardware detects, hold down the power button and the home button at the same time for about 10 seconds, then the apple logo will appear as if your phone has been charged after dying, it will then turn on back to your lock screen and should fix it
