Re: Sunflower Ability Change...

@llachie

Valid points, but it's a fail ability that leaves your Sunflower with no self heal at all unless you're the Vampire variant and is more of a defensive ability, it's total garbage on the offensive, and so is a heal pot.

On the defensive a heal flower is alright...but shield would be better as I suggested many times.

'Put it in a bush...'

You keep putting yours in bushes then, I think I've only ever died to one dark flower in both game versions in over 300 hours, and probably 1000 games...because I was too busy looking around for a player and didn't look at the tiny little pot on the ground, oh and I was ridiculously low health when I went near it.

    Well you've been lucky. In the first game I was picked off several times because of the flower. That's how I knew it was effective. Because at first I too wondered why would anyone use that instead of a heal flower. And then I felt the flower power. It became such an annoyance and hazard that whenever I encountered one along with other players, I went for the flower first.

    You all say that it's weakened and not as effective in GW2....well I haven't played all that much as sunflower, so I can really say I've noticed one way or the other, but when I was playing as flower I still chose the dark flower over a heal pot. And still felt it was coming in handy.
