Evolution.
Something to keep in mind when you are playing with this ability, is you may as well exploit it...since that seems to be a four letter word or something like that...but seriously, it's good to have cards that have an ability upon coming into play. Using cheap versions of these work good in some situations, like kernelpult taking 1/1 away from a zombie and teamup, is a great choice for an elderberry.
Or chomper for four sun a 2/2 is meh, but with a built in whack a zombie it's nice...but next turn its still just a 2/2. Another good option for maybe bamboozle, since chomper is 4 sun, this is not an out of the question move by any means, and you get a 5/6 plant and 2 card draw for the evolution
Other things that are possible, and are a nice trick to have up your sleeve, even just for the know.
Jellybeans I really like, and I found that sometimes you find things out that you knew, but until it happens you don't really realize it...like playing a jellybean ontop of an admiral, the admiral does his 2 damage before evolving into bouncing something. Sometimes it is better to have something gone than the admiral, and a 5/5 jellybean
For that matter, if you play gatling pea on podfather, it still receives the 2/2 buff and now is 6/7 doing a bonus attack. That is a nice thing to have in your arsenal, and not everyone realizes that is the case, but like I said, it is common sense to the rules of the game, but in many cases, unless you experience it, it may never occur to you.
