Re: Unlocking Legendary characters

They give you two free tries. Which is more generous then some things. Also, once you've opened all the chests in the backyard....stars are only for Infinity Mode. Or I guess, leveling.

EDIT: I mean I really don't understand why it's a big deal that it uses stars. What else are you going to do with them? Anyone who plays the game frequently will get all the chests open within the first month or two. And the stuff in the chest isn't even that great. So what? Level up? Just play as the character.

Two free tries on a mode that's completely different in style and play is being generous???🤔 I can see you're idea of generous is completely different than mine.😛 Is it easy once you get the hang of it , sure but figuring it out take some practice. I don't think people should really be penalized for something they can't even practice before gambling stars on.

It took me one try to get the hang of it.....and again what else are the stars good for? Honestly, this is a question I'm asking you. The way you word it makes it sound like there's something else to do with them.

And you honestly think that it's better to farm for days and days and just hope you get a legendary sticker? Infinity Time gives you an alternative. A way to get a confirmed legendary sticker, or you can just keep trying on the sticker packs.

It took me quite a considerable number of tries because I didn't realize the shards wouldn't fade away so I was collecting them instead of saving them for later when I needed them.

I use the stars for chests 20000 coins is a nice little bonus.

I didn't even know it did that and I still got enough shards for a legendary piece.

And not all chests have 20k. I wish they did, but most of them have backyard items. And once all those chests have been opened, which will be sooner rather than later, the only uses for stars will be leveling and Infinity Time. And there's almost no point to use stars to level because you don't really get that much of a reward for leveling up.

Since you seem unable to actually point out one good reason for making it so the only way to get legendary characters is through sticker packs, I'm done with this debate. I think I've made my case, and anyone who came here to debate it can clearly see you have no argument, or no argumentative skills, and apparently only want Infinity Time gone due to a lack of your own skills.

Not everyone gets the hang of something right off the bat just because you were able to do it doesn't mean everyone should be held to that standard. I may not be great at everything but given the  opportunity I will practice to get better.  The problem I have with the mode is people aren't given the chance to practice freely to get better.

As to the stars lets face it stars only serve one purpose they're there as a time sink. Once you get all the Infinity characters unlocked star will once again be useless by your logic so your point is moot.

Infinity Time also gives you a decent amount of coins. And the value of said coins goes up depending on what wave you make it to, and the value will increase even more once all you get is coins and no legendary loot. So my point is not moot.

Actually that's entirely different point. Unless I misunderstood you I got the impression you were saying that character unlocks gave stars some sort of purpose which is just as short lived as the chests you gave as an example.

Though you do make a good point about the coins but if a practice mode was offered then it would only make sense the rewards would be different too , such as less coins and no infinity characters.

No I was saying Infinity Time gives stars a purpose. And I really don't think a practice mode is needed. Because when it comes down to it this mode is exactly the same as all modes: Kill everything, pick up whatever drops, and follow bonus objectives if you care enough. The only difference is you're either playing in a triceratops or amazing cat rather than a plant or a zombie.

The unique points of Infinity Time are extremely simple and, unless you ignore the pop up windows when you start, easy to understand. Destabilizing time means you lose, pick up shards to heal, you get a reward based on your shards at the end.

Don't' get me wrong I'm not saying the lack of a practice Infinity  mode is game breaking but I do believe new players certainly could benefit from such a mode. Helping new player along in my opinion is in popcaps best interest. 😇

Maybe. Yea I'll give you that much. Although I feel like if they're doing that you shouldn't get a reward period. Like Mario Party back when it was still good, you could practice but you didn't get any coins.

Regardless, getting rid of it is a bad -no, horrible- idea.

First; I do have a point- I think the mode is not fun. My version of fun is allowed to be different from your version of fun.
Second; you don't seem to be smart enough to understand the very simple fact that since those legendary characters have attributes not available to other characters, it gives the person using those unique characters a starting advantage.
Third; I'm glad you are done 'debating' because you have not really brought any important points to the table either dear.
Fourth; you seem to be one of those girls that has to have the last word- no doubt it will be stressful for you to NOT reply to this
Fifth; I hope I see you in-game just to demonstrate who has the skills kid.
  • Very odd Verifun, you open your statement with comments about "your interpretation of fun" and then make a slight towards the fact you can only get certain skins from the party mode, yet lets just say for example, i only enjoy infinity time, should i complain than i cant unlock all the other things from that game mode?

    Wake up, or grow up.

Anyone looking to party up and take on infinity mode?

I feel like it'd be easier to do with other people.
