Try repairing the game, the game should not be more laggy just because of an update.

Not really, if the update touched upon the netcode, for whatever the reason, and it introduced problems, yes, a game could have more lag after an update.

I have the same problem, and my brother too, after the last update the game is lagging, usually between 17 and 23 CET it is very annoying when we lose the game because cant do anything for 5-10 seconds or more....
