Re: What Cards Do You Think Are "OP"?

Thats why they play Fossil head on the heights!! no spike weed there.. The game doesn't always allow you to have a turn one card - no matter how many cards to place in your deck.

I don't like losing - So yes I'm always adapting my play. Obviously the Zombie folks know their fossil head is doing the business so expect it more and more. If you know of any other ways to smash it please reply..

@saintlydevilis Pear cub then. It's actually at the advantage, really. Turn three, they kill it, but can't do anything else because they spent their Nana getting it in the board.. Turn four, while you can't use a truck in it, you can on pear bear. you can plant food the pear bear and kill it before they have a chance to play going viral... Just saying, have you tried to even figure out how to beat it? Two bok choys will kill it.

    Think outside of the box.

I understand that you won't always have a turn one answer, but you're acting they will always have a turn one professional... What I'm saying is that while you may not always win, neither will they. That's the definition of balance

If its on heights then have a couple lillies in your deck to buff the plant blocking on heights, or us sweet potato/sweet pea/hot date to bring them to you and the groundlane with spikeweeds
  • Everyone focuses on Fossil Head, but I think Parasol Zombie, it's worse and more dangerous. it bothers me that it's Untrickable, and do the others too, but it is not the case of Umbrella Leaf, obviously that bothers me because I play more with plants xD.

But It should not be, as the case of Umbrella Leaf.  I have planted Umbrella Leaf, and then a butt falls on it (Bungee Plumber), and then the other tricks to attack my other plants, so the function of protecting does not make much sense...  You can not do this with Parasol Zombie, since she protects herself...

You can kill with tricks, well, we search for the way, i put The Red Plant-it and in the end it's almost the same as Parasol, except for certain tricks like Locust Swarm, the good thing is that you are forcing your enemy to spend that trick on Umbrella Leaf,

I also think that having plants Untrickables in the first turns, it is quite powerful and Umbrella Leaf only cost 1.

    LOL, I answer myself

Anyway, everything that can be done with Parasol is incredible!

@saintlydevilis since you like to call us out like your responses are irrefutable, I'm looking forward to hearing from you how mine and patdk's proven techniques (well, they work for me) never work and how they always win. 🙂
  • I just get rid of the professional zombie, it works for me... to be honest I have not bothered much this supposed zombie OP

if they manage to play, just fight !!  it's what I've done, and I don't let that stats scare me.

Primal Potato Mine came in this season for a reason! and even if they use a trick and kill it, it will still explode and hit with 3, and only cost 1 Sun, just place a few in your deck, and the best part; its a uncommon only, i guess you already have all. That for Guardian

  • For Kabloom: Fireweed, cost 2 only, again, came in this season for a reason...

Do 3 damage plus +1 damage of the Hot lava do, 4 in totally. The bad thing is that it's Superare, we need to climb more to get it.

but I repeat, don't get too complicated, don't be scared by he stats ...

For Megagrow i use Bonk Choy... sometimes the simplest cards are the best

Lots of the time the simplest way is the best. Not only that they are usually accessible, but often they aren't costly to aquire or to play.

And talking about umbrella leaf...an easy solution to stop the bungee plumber from sitting on it as soon as you finish your turn is to have a pair and put them side by side and they protect each other. I know it's not always possible to do, but in situations where you want to keep something swinging, it works well

    OR

    TANK IT LIKE A MAN.

5 dmg is actually pretty reasonable. I feel like its a general mistake to make an half assed attempt to remove or block him. fossilhead generally generates a pretty bard card value as it requires you to "sacrefice" a professional. While middlemanager already managed to get you a card to replace himself and because his cost is only one he is a reasonable choice for that. But in General its negative card value. The value fossilhead provides is oftentimes generated over time and more important over the course of the multiple plant defenders he kills  while the block him.

I feel that a good strategy to defeat this deck is to ignore the single fossilhead as long as possible (if you cannot defeat it easily somehow) instead of jumping it desperately and develop the board around it. there are several simple reasons for that.
    1. Going viral and other frenzy providers suck * if you cannot utilize the frenzy. which you cant if there are no plants blocking.

    2. These decks are HEAVILY constructed around playing and defending the fossilhead. They usually do not have an aweful lot to offer on the remaining lanes.

    3. You deny them to regain the card disadvantage they generated by investing into the fossilhead (by sacreficing a prof.).

    4. Going wide is generally a better idear than going big.

what speaks against this?; its a pretty bold plan to try to go wide early on against an opponent with weedspray at their disposal.

But I play like this with citron a lot. Forget me nuts, pleurodon and Carrotops are really good at that.

Sportacus is a great fit for that citron deck also, even though he was another "fix" that was not needed, at least I don't think that it was necessary
