Unfortunately, according to this post by Hey1mJay, it seems that EA does not intend to update the GW2 Mystery Portal rotation. Could they still work on the other stuff or better yet, change their minds if the community roars loud enough? I mean, it's always a possibility, and it's something I hope happens.

I would love wallnut hills, soil survivors and capture the taco to be put into solo play as the ppr mod showed it can be done. It always dissapointed me how the map never actually got any of the benefits solo players would get from it being in gw2.
At this point win or lose on this movement we should simply cause as much damage as we can and let them know we are here and disastisfied if that response is true. #bringbackbosshunt

- @Hieldanka If they still don’t change it, they’d be committing franchise suicide, because I don’t know about you guys but I for 1 am utterly dissatisfied and disappointed years that for the past 4 years, every time that we’ve asked for this change, we’ve either been completely ignored, or been given excuses that don’t make any sense.
For me, this is the last chance EA has to redeem themselves.I have been incredibly patient with the state of GW2 without the content that has been lost for many years, so I am really hoping that a change will occur soon, or at least would be confirmed to occur soon.
However, EA should do something about the lack of such replayability soon, as our community is still here and many players still play the shooter games. The player base will start to dwindle, and I think it already has, if nothing changes. This would not be a good way for this franchise to go down. If even a small change occurred, I'm sure the player base would shoot up again for at least some time.
