can't boot up an older game i purchased

plants vs zombies is a tittle i tried going back to, but something bugs out, when ever i try to launch the game, i get sent to a screen where i have to enter an activation key, but when i try to continue it just does nothing, picture 1 is the first pop up where i try to enter my activation code, and picture 2 is where i either just infinitely press restart or i exit out back into ea play, closing the game i tried to open, i had technical support solve this exact issue, but it appeared again after a while and i can't review my closed case details anymore, does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Hey there, this error can usually be fixed by clearing the temp files and deleting the license folder:

    Delete EA License Files:

    • Make sure the EA app is closed.
    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
    • Type or copy and paste "%ProgramData%\Electronic Arts\EA Services" (without the quotes) into the new Window > ENTER
    • Delete all files in the "License" folder.

    Please clear your temp files:

    • Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time
    • Into the new window, type or copy & paste: "%temp%" (Without the quotes.) > hit "ENTER"
    • Your Windows Explorer should have brought you to the "C:\Users\>your user name<\AppData\Local\Temp" folder. > Delete all files and folders in it.
    • (If some files or folders can't be deleted, reboot and try again.)

    I hope this helps!
