We have an update to share regarding this matter: Updating PVZ Garden Warfare 2 PC with EA anticheat.
There was a server-sided fix that came out on the 20th. Unfortunately some new information very recently has confirmed that it doesn't yet work with all accounts, and as such the issue is still preventing some from multiplayer. It's uncertain whether or not multiplayer is yet safe for most at this current time, so it's been advised to still stay out of multiplayer for the time being
The good news is that when that fix gets fully integrated properly, it will have been patched in a way that works based on what we know about how the fix we got on the 20th functions
Get this fixed and officially confirmed please, EA. Multiplayer is the most loved aspect of the shooters, so needs to be playable on all platforms without worrying about these exploiters banning people!
