RIP Old Characters?

I have to disagree for several reasons. I still use the GW1 characters. I love playing engineer, scientist, all-star, peashooter, sunflower, and chomper. We have newly designed characters that simply look better and sleeker. I love playing the old characters in this game and seeing what they can do. Plus we have all the new variants of them which gives it an all new twist and makes it even more interesting to play. Me and my friends love the regular GW1 characters for sure. Plus, there are sentimental reasons we play them...for old times sake. To me they seem new since we are in a whole new game...taking them to new places...getting to level them up and unlock upgrades. I love those guys!
