Scientist Warp Glitch

During the 10th wave, I used warp to get away from the Big Stump boss, and I fell through the map. I never got the option to respawn either.
Other issues I've had with the Ops mode include an issue with the enemies not appearing during Break All the Vases waves and Opening Dave's Gifts waves.
A minor issue is a sound glitch encountered whenever I open a sticker pack. The pack opens, and a few seconds later the sounds will play. This isn't a big deal--just a minor nuisance.
These are common issues, irritating to say the least. From hours of playing, I encountered these several times, some less than others.
The first problem of your scientist falling off the map is a fault in collision detection where your coordinates of your warp location seems to project incorrectly. This therefore locates you under/in the floor when trying to warp into location such as a slope (going to higher grounds). This falling of the map pulls you so low, the game panics and such (I do not really know exactly how the game is structured) and locks you out there as PopCap never inserted a kill zone under the map (as you are not supposed to be there) therefore not allowing you to respawn. I never encountered this in Ops though I am sure the game detected you "out of bounds" and still considered you to be vanquished in a sort of matter. Strange to say the least but I can not really tell the exact reasons for everything here. 😳 I once started split screen with my sibling whom was hosting and he fell right through the ground when the map loaded. Probably due to floor collision loading a bit too slowly.
This "enemy not spawning" bug is commonly known as the "Wave 8 glitch" as it seems to be exclusive to Wave 8 of any Ops, any difficulty (it seems) and any map. The best way to avoid this is the avoid the objectives to get the game to spawn these enemies normally. Painful to miss out on easy coins but it ensures safety (not sure if your allies would co-operate though).
There seems to be many sound issues with them being delayed. I would assume it is the game loading them but loading other stuff first (priority items) thus making it even more delayed. I can not confirm this too, just a wacky theory.
