Should freezing a plant/zombie also freeze their ability?

That is to say their 'triggered' abilities. Say a sgt strongberry is frozen, then it wouldn't be able to deal that bonus damage. But a toxic waste imps passive deadly ability wouldn't be affected. Or...

I agree with this idea, it would make freeze decks more viable besides the obvious cards (Snowdrop and Winter Squash).
