@jamcast99 I’ve had Excellent Accelerant equipped since Mastering my Snap Dragon. Honestly, it doesn’t seem to do as much extra damage. But in a team setting, it helps because the opponents health regeneration delay extends for a couple extra seconds which helps the team or you get the final blow. I’ve went back and forth if it’s worth it but that’s the only thing I’ve noticed it’s good for as of yet. I have seen opponents die when on fire with their health very low but not often. Hope this helps.
You're right @DeAtHaDDiCtiOn5 , the upgrade Excellent Accelerant does not deal additional damage. I tested this in PvE against a browncoat and did not see any reduction in it's health. Also, I was playing as a foot solider in PvP and got lit up by a Snapdragon. Luckily for me, the Snapdragon was immediately vanquished by a teammate and I stood there on fire and did not see any drop off in my health. Like you mentioned, the only benefit seems to be an increase delay in opponent regen. It's a shame because this upgrade could actually be worthwhile even it were to deal minimal damage.

@jamcast99 I agree that’s it’s unfortunate that the benefits aren’t more detrimental to an enemies health. I love the idea of slow-burn damage (similar to Toxic Citron in GW2 with its -2 damage every second or so, which in fact does do the damage and will vanquish an enemy) and is very effective in first-person shooters like PvZ.
The best example I can think of is the weapon Thorn in Destiny when it hits you, not only is your vision blurred but the slow health drain can kill you if you’re at low health. Maybe PopCap can look into this in the near future and make it cause actual damage to the enemy or have some other advantage in PvP.
