I used solo mode a LOT in GW2. TT was the only regularly populated mode on PC after awhile so to get the quests linked to other modes, I'd play against bots. It was also nice to have private matches when you wanted to get the gnomes and to just look around the map and explore. There's a lot of Easter eggs and fun jokes that are hidden in the maps and they're easier to find when not getting shot at.

My heart yearns for solo play... And with all these new characters, I would love to play preserve pastures and get to know it better, my first and only playthrough of it was me and three people against a team of eight.

I really miss being able to explore, enjoy and appreciate all the work that have gone into them.... the jokes, references and intertexual content.
There is no way you can appreciate these things properly while in a game, seems such a waste 😕- 5 years agoAgree with you all - great feature, sorely missed!
