@asabaida Popcap should've known that this was how it was going to go. I don't know why they designed the reward-o-tron in that way, it's far too easy to complete and this is a live-service game so the free currency needs to remain somewhat relavant, after all.
I've said it before but I don't think RNG rewards were the way to go. Tron items should've been direct purchase (albeit more expensive, thus preserving the longevity of the game's reward system). Costumes are locked as Collection rewards, making weaker cosmetics worth purchasing. Every month new collections are added to the store, and combined with the monthly prize-map, players would feel less empty.
Oh well, it is what it is. I'm on 15 million right now, and at the end of the day it's a bad design choice more than anything that's the main culprit. Even in GW2's final year we were rewarded (although most of these rewards were mediocre recolours). Imagine if in GW2 they took all of those rewards and gave them to us over 3 months instead of 3 years. They're not giving us less or more rewards, they're just less spread out. That's my mindset with Battle For Neighborville. The Prize Map is already fullfilling my need for constant rewards, so it's not like Popcap gave this system little thought. Let's hope that Prize Maps last for a while.
