I would love to see a Squash Boss Hunt (or any boss hunt that’s seasonally themed) featured as a community event for this Halloween. With the schedule of the launch, a fun event like this couldn’t come at a better time.
Those who don’t know, GW2 had a Spooky Squash Hunt and the majority of us LOVED these types of boss hunts (Sasquatch, Brothers Gnomus, Yeti, Squash).
The fact no PSN trophies currently exist for seasonal boss hunts worries me.... ?
They've rolled most of these into the elite boss waves in Ops. The spooky squash is quite similar to the GW 2 boss hunt, the yeti is similar to the yeti king too. There is no Sasquatch, at least not yet.
One thing that is nice about them being in Ops is that it's 10 minutes for the wave with elite bosses instead of the longer matches we had in GW2 so if you fail, you don't lose so much time.
Edit: There are no achievements for the zombie town center or beyond either. I have 49/50 of them done, I just need to get all characters to master and I'll have every single currently available achievement done. They did add more after launch to both GW games though, so I expect the same here.
Sadly, the current events are nowhere near as fun as seasonal boss hunts were. 😢
