[Steam Deck] I cant play Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

It gives an error when starting the game "the program encountered e111000b at 00001d9b during initialization". How do i fix that?

  • @Dar1aanJust like how you can't play gw2 on steam deck anymore cause of EA Anticheat, you also can't play bfn on it anymore as well because it also now has EA Anticheat in it which doesn't have support for steam deck so it won't open the game. It can't be fixed.

PvZ GW2 and PvZ BfN do not run on the steam deck because they have anti-cheats that do not support linux with wine. Sorry :/

  • yup totally agree here i bought gw2 but then i realized it didn't work with Linux and now its just in my steam library collecting dust i wish they grew some eyes and either get rid of or fix the anti cheat.

It would be MASSIVE to play Pvz Gw2 on a steam deck, but we will never see it (or maybe?)

I want EA to know that a lot of the player-base has been locked out of the game.

I bought Garden Warfare 2 on Steam to play on my Steam Deck, but now I can’t. I don’t have a PC and I recently stopped paying for PS Plus.

I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to disallow certain customers from playing the game they paid for.

Linux and Steamdeck users may be a small community, but we still matter!

EA locked Linux and SD users from the game.

Might be illegal to disallow an item that was paid and bought from people’s hands.

We love GW2, and its a shame that you don’t consider allowing the Anti-cheat to work with a part of the player base.

Linux and SD users may be a small community, but it doesn’t give EA the right to remove our presence from the game!

Leaving this here in the very fragile hope that EA does something about the anticheat (because let's be honest, it is barely doing its job) and either allows us Linux users or removes it completely to let us play the game we paid for.
