Has there been any discussion of bringing compatibility at all ? I'd like to show my support in any way I can for it to at least be considered, as I am interested in supporting EA titles utilizing EA Anticheat, though I can't do so when I am blocked off from doing so.
After the recent update adding EA Anticheat, I can no longer play one of my most favorite shooters of all time: Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 and it seems like Steam Deck and Linux users are being left in the dust like myself and since EA seems to think that there is no demand from these platforms, I thought It would be productive to create a support thread where users can show their support and demand for the anticheat to be adjusted for Steam Deck/Linux users.

@Dar1aanJust like how you can't play gw2 on steam deck anymore cause of EA Anticheat, you also can't play bfn on it anymore as well because it also now has EA Anticheat in it which doesn't have support for steam deck so it won't open the game. It can't be fixed.
@Dar1aan Steam Deck is not technically supported. Any issues relating to that platform, we ask that you post on their forums for support with errors!
Cheers!
