Perhaps just try not playing in full-screen for a short while and notice if it makes a difference or not.

I haven't found anything there. I think it either has to do with the pseudo install of origin the Steam version does, or direct:x settings. When I used dx11, the standard setting, it minimized often. I switched it to the experimental dx:12 support and it happened less often. The game didn't minimize anymore, but exited fullscreen. After, it changed the window size to 1/4 of the screen and moved the window to align with the top left. Then it turned black. After clicking the taskbar icon, it returned to fullscreen.
