Suggestion: Hide Rank Option

I don't see the point in hiding a rank. Other games don't hide your rank/level but it's not like it means anything aside from how much time you've spent on the game (and how skillful you may be) but aside from that i don't really see a point in hiding your own rank and why it would be needed

Text is easily misunderstood, I'm not angry or bothered if you have a difference of opinion...what I mean is, if you didn't understand, if you haven't given it much thought then what difference would it make to you? Wouldn't you be indifferent either way? It wouldn't bother you, either way. I can't word it any better. I feel like I've said the same thing four times now.

Lets assume you max rank today, do you want everyone to see your rank? I'd rather mine be hidden 🙂

I'm at 1152 now and well I went online earlier and the highest anyone else was, was only 3-500. As pointless as it may be, I don't like being higher ranked than others, I feel silly? I joined as the game ended, I had a score of 0 and well, I quit.

Again wow, didn't want to get into a slanging match with you friend, but you do realize that you're saying one thing and doing the exact opposite. Your first statement is reconcilitory, and then you straight away lay the boot in. Again "saying the same thing four times" really do you have some sort of inferiority complex, or a need to win. I responded to your post because I can, and because I like to contribute to these forums. These forums are not meant to be confontational (no matter how much you attempt to make them). Please friend stop being so angry. I will not respond to you again.

Problems with hiding ranks

1. people will do things like join crazy ops that are rank lv 1 or something

2. not having a rank looks cooler than having a low rank

3. people will ask you what is your rank if you do things like join parties and ops

4. People try to pick on people with no ranks because they know they are trying to hide their high rank most likely. 

Whats the real use for hiding your rank it will be a disadvantage in garden and graveyard ops because some low level sneaks into your game and it is in crazy. Also hiding your rank will not change anyone at aiming at you because they choose on your score of the last game you played.

I responded with a question that you haven't answered, instead you assumed that I was mad, I then tried to explain what I meant and ultimately ended up repeating myself because I'm trying to make it more clear and you've taken it the wrong way even more. Telling someone who is smiling and chilling listening to music, that they are angry is quite puzzling I must say.

On top of all this, I even sent you a private message trying to explain that I'm not mad and you've taken it the wrong way, but no? You insist on insulting and being completely obvious to what I'm saying to you. I really don't know what else to do, except laugh...don't respond then? I'm not going to lose sleep over it...It's not my fault you can't understand English.

Option strictly for online players then, I don't play much solo ops with pugs unless I'm trying to do the quest challenge and I'm hoping to get lucky and start on wave 10 😉

You said having no rank looks cooler than having a low rank, in my opinion having a low rank looks cooler than having a high rank? Having no rank looks even cooler, but why is that a problem at all? ^^

The problem is having no rank dosen't take any effort to put on. Just pressing pause and selecting the option isn't difficult as getting to rank 100.

True true...your issue with this is potential newbies hiding their low ranks, but do you feel the same way about a high rank just wanting to hide their rank for being high?

What if the option was only available to players over a certain rank then? Of say 313, 1000 or even 1337?

What are you really trying to hide from us? Just don't add this.

I'm not trying to hide anything.

I just don't want a ridiculously massive number next to my name that is meaningless. It goes up to what, 5000? Some of you may feel like you've achieved something for getting it up that high but I just want to hide my rank 🙂

Hiding rank dosen't change that. If you do good in a game then people will tell you your good. If you do good in a game people will say you cheater. If your in a high rank people will say wow your good. If your in a high rank people will say your a low life. There is no point in this because I am level 2507 and I get alot of messages saying im a no life and a cheater and also im good and how do you rank up fast? Hiding your rank will not change this for your score you get in a game and looks suspicious or makes you look bad in things like garden ops or graveyard ops.
