Support plants vs zombies 2

I have tried without success to actually get any real support for the game.

I lost all my data (not the first time either) and sent in customer support requests and got the standard reply asking for more details when i send this I never receive any reply to them. I do get an email a few days later to say is my issue now resolved !!  NO it isn't.

How do I get any support from EA for the game if they do not read and reply to emails?

    Sorry to hear that you lost your progress. Your case has been escalated to the tech specialists today and you should be notified via Email about any progression on it. I am not sure why your first case was closed, is it possible that you sent it as a bug report?

    As far as I remember I sent it as technical support.
    I love the game but have lost it so many times and am disheartened at having to start again and losing all the plants I won. Hopefully there will be some way to return them to the game. Fingers crossed.

  • Just a quick update.
    Tech support did find my previous identity and reinstated it (Thanks). Unfortunately the plants bought with gems and upgrades and some progress were not so I have to try get them again and hope that some of the other specials goldenbloom/starfruit etc come back again to buy or win on quests in the future
    So a result of sorts.

    Hello for weeks I am trying to connect with some support for my plants vs zombies 2- my app on tablet wont launch after a purchase and I can not retrieve the id to even submit a ticket to support... i have followed all updates and checks and the only thing i can do is uninstall but my in progress game is not saved...i dont want to lose my progress and all my purchases can you please help me !!! i m missing my game time ty so much

  • Hi,

    Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the game.

    I did get some support and they reinstated my old player names, but not the plants I had bought with gems and I also lost a lot of my progress.

    if you paid for plants then they should be able to find your unique player id that way.

    It is worth filling in a ticket for support  with as much information as you have including purchases for cash, Also if you get no reply, fill in another support ticket and keep on with it till you get a reply, as sometimes I think the tickets get closed in error.

     I have the same problem, it reset my and lost all of the profiles I had from having this happen more than once I had like 5 or 6 at least. I am so sick of starting over and will not do it again I hope that the person that helped you here can help me because they wrote me back asking for all these details that were pointless and saying if you still need help let us know. I am also logged in with Google which should be backing them up but it is not working and I have no profiles on my list when I open the game.

    Not sure what to do but I can't go through starting a new one again it is so time-consuming and annoying.  Help EA!

  • Same situation here.  All the regular is completed but the game bug and the only support I got from EA is customer support.  The first reflex is to reinstall the game but isn't good because you lost Player ID.  And finally, they tell no Player ID you lost EVERYTHING.

    In that case we should consider a class action.  If we can't backup our progress locally, we depend on them if they're not able to find your progress you lost all.  So, all of your purchase is lost...  It's a way to stole our money...

    That is one reason I will NEVER pay for any plants/coins/gems I have lost the contents so many times and not got it back so will certainly not give money/cash to have the same thing happen.

  • I would have bought more stuff from the store but since they've failed to make my purchase of the Goo Peashooter Bundle on July 14,2021 good, the odds of me purchasing anything from them again decreases by the day. Now that Ali-mint plants are featured in the Arena week, I'm furious all over again that they have my money and left me with nothing but a Google Play receipt and emails from several of their EA Help Desk employees asking for one more thing to do the job finally. It's August 2, 2021 and I'm still waiting on EA Helping not Helping Help Desk.
