I normally don't let taunting get to me and I really haven't seen it all that much in the PvZ shooters. Not saying that it doesn't happen as it obviously does, but even when I have seen it, it's been less nasty than in some other games. It was so bad in World of Tanks I turned my chat off and it certainly wasn't the friendliest bunch in Overwatch either. I've never played R6 Siege with anyone other than a couple of friends but I've seen videos on that one and wow, it's bad.
I'm really annoyed at how some of these are perceived too. For instance, the new 'Chicken Sighted' I want to use as it's amusing to me, not because I'm accusing a teammate of anything. Some like the poop emote are more obvious in this regard so I hardly use them at all.
Indeed, @asabaida and @ippig we've not played much together but it has been fun. I really wish we had crossplay so more of us could play together more often.
