Team Switch Hourly Limit

When a good player joins a server and is continually the same character (on the same team) EVERY game, it eventually ends the game/server EVERY time.

Another thing - how in the world do these people get on those teams each round so quickly?  If I try to switch - as in race them to switch teams, they ALWAYS maintain their character/team.  This isn’t one person but literally EVERY coward I know who does this - does it successfully.  90% of the time, a 24 person server will reduce to 6-8 within 3-4 games and often times you hear youngsters complain and inevitably leave the game.

This is horrible on the community so why not limit team switches to once per hour or 5-8 times per day (max)?

  • Not to double post - my phone can only type so much and then the window makes it impossible to see what I’m typing....

I’ve noticed that 100% of my encounters with these types of players have been those who literally only SPAM electric pea, captain cannon, and petrified cactus.

It’s not that I’m not capable of using these characters as I’ve tried them and know I could easily master them... but... they’re HIGHLY overpowered and need serious tweaks made to each character?

(I’m just now playing at a competitive level in multiplayer and I’m sure this is common sense to most - I’m just confused about the characters and infinite team switching)....

It depends on how much a person has contributed to the match in terms of vanquishes [not streak] and healing (healers and high vanquish numbers tend to cause an immediate switch). However, the issue with players switching almost immediately is quite problematic; especially on the east coast when players not from the area show up or their game accounts look like alts. There are particular players who only play druid rose or only arctic trooper I noticed; yet their ranks jump from 1700 to 3600 within a day despite being on the same server and character for 7 hours. The detonation characters can be occasional server nuisances as it begins to walk a fine line between someone trying to get easy kills or the other option of covering up as a hacker. I have seen wall hack exploits so these guys can see where opponent's character models are so that they are easier to kill, but again they are rare.

Re being switched from one team to other, I find it rather tiresome as when having topped the list in terms of vanquishes I find myself on exactly the same character team (eg. Zombies) as the one I was on before.  It’s annoying particularly when it happens 5 times in a row, precisely (...and not to bang on about it…) because I came out top. I’d far prefer to change to the opposing character team.

Talking of which. What I do find odd re these reward icons is how they are distributed.

On the occasion when having got the vanquish streak icon and ending up with the same amount of vanquishes as the guy with the highest amount of vanquishes. He gets the vanquish master icon rather than I.

In that instance, I was wondering whether the game distributes these icons according to some additional criteria such as kill ratio or number of XP or even a weighted combination of all three. But then again that does not always seem to be the case as it seems to occur rather haphazardly, but it would be nice to get a clearer picture of what it takes to get a particular icon.
