When can we all agree that this needs to go and may be the single worst feature of any video game ever made? Honestly, let people pick plant or zombie to start and then they are forced to play with that side for the entirety of that match. What would be the purpose of allowing someone to swap sides mid match other than throw off the competitive balance? Honestly can’t even play the game regardless of online match you pick due to people team swapping and the balance becomes so lopsided that everyone quits. Now you have a bunch of people constantly starting and quitting match after match hoping to find an legitimate server that people just want to play on and won’t team swap.
learn to lose now kids, life is hard. 🤙
My number one complaint since day one.
In GW1, people would follow me when I'd switch teams (in efforts to balance teams).  No matter the losing side I joined, 1-2 people from my previous (winning team) would follow.
In GW2, team stacking became a major issue... people claimed they had teams, clans, etc... friends they "liked playing with" ... and... I ... guess didn't wanna kill.  It RIUNED PvP in GW2.  If you wanted to find a good game (random public match), you had to play in the morning, period.
Ive already seen team swapping becoming an issue here (BfN) and can only hope something is done to prevent it becoming a problem.
EDIT: I understand gaming with buddies is extremely fun but my friends ALWAYS switched teams (to oppose one another) if the server got ugly/games became unfair...  come to think of it, there's not much more joy I find than fragging @dwooten77 and taunting him when it's a one-shot kill or low skill scenario. 😎
