The Evolution of Mains

I thought it might be interesting to see the evolution of mains for vets but don’t wanna leave anyone out (which is why I listed my BfN clutter even though I don’t have a main yet)....  so anyone feel free to add your mains regardless of PVZ experience. 

Garden Warfare 1:

(All Star, Peashooter, Engineer)

Garden Warfare 2:

(Roadie Z, and Alien Flower followed by Electric Chomper, Twilight Chomper, Plasma Peashooter, Scuba Soldier, Paleontologist, Mechanic)

BfN:  ...this one is different.  I still don’t PvP much but mained Engineer and Oak during Picnic (PvP’d way more to help test/give feedback).  I’ve since moved away from both characters and feel like I can main Corn, Nightcap, and Snapdragon as effectively as Oak. For Zombies it’s Soldier, Electric Slide, and All Star and I barely touch Engineer now.  In fact, I can’t remember the last time I used him for PvP or PvE.   I think Peashooter’s gatling is way overpowered with its (seemingly) endless upgrade activated so I don’t use him for now.  When balancing is addressed (HOPEFULLY AFTER MECHANICS), I’ll pick 1-2 characters per side as true mains for BfN.

Those who don’t know, “Main” = the main character you play or fall back on when you’re trying your hardest.  Some people main characters they enjoy and aren’t the best with because they prefer the role of support as opposed to fragging.  No “right” answer here and that’s the beauty of gaming; the diversity.
