The Game is really laggy, help please?
So I bought PvZ GW about a week ago, but it has been very laggy. Whenever I shoot, it takes a few seconds to register. Whenever I move, it lag moves me. So I can barely vanquish people or stay alive! I have changed all my settings to minimal, it still is laggy. Even minimizing my window! The game still is slow!
My system:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64 Bit)
Processor: AMD Athlon II X4 620 Processor 2.60 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 201 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA Geforce G210
Sound Card: NVIDIA High Definition Audio
DirectX: Is this Microsoft DX? I have 86.
Input: Keyboard and Mouse
Don't know if everything I entered fits each category, I'm no expert on computers. I hope you can solve my problem!
you need a system that can run a game. You're going to have a hard time gaming in general with that system.
Turning off windows visual effects is one option to get a little extra FPS
1. Open Performance Information and Tools by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Performance Information and Tools, and then, in the list of results, click Performance Information and Tools.
2. Click Adjust visual effects. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
3. Click the Visual Effects tab, click Adjust for best performance, and then click OK. (For a less drastic option, select Let Windows choose what’s best for my computer.)

You can also go to control panel > hardware and sound > power options. Many systems run on low or balanced performance. High performance will run a game better at the cost of heating up your system and reducing the life span
