This game is dying 😭
I can’t believe it. This game is one of the best third person shooters I’ve ever played, yet the playerbase is a graveyard. Almost no one plays this game anymore. Please EA, give this game a free week...

Naturally, GW2 came out 2 years ago so a lot has happened since then. Insufficient play-testing, upsetting collectible completionists, disappointing lobbies, etc.
But as a PS4 player on the West, I still see people capturing gardens and graveyards. And I still see players try to revive me when I'm downed as a sunflower/deadbeard.
What console and server are you talking about to make you feel the game is vanishing? Or on a related note, what aspects? (Like Garden Ops, Gnome Bomb, etc.)
I do feel like the PS4 player base has decreased a little bit over the last several months. I used to have to queue for my friends' games pretty consistently, now it's a rare occurrence.
There have been pretty regular injections of new players whenever the game has been on a good sale price.
- East Coast is weird for Ps4. Great in afternoons, only dead in the mornings up to 11 am sharp. Do know of a few niche groups for xbox , but that is what a friend told me.
Rumors as to how low the PC player base is seem false too. While any mode besides G&G are mostly empty unfortunately (I prefer mixed mode as it gives more variety but G&G is my favorite match type), G&G and the mystery portals tend to be well populated in US East coast.
And it is a great shooter for sure. I prefer it and GW1 over all others. The fact I still play pretty much everyday after over 2 years speaks volumes for me.
It is down from its heyday, but that's no surprise, we've not had any new major DLC in months and the many bugs it had at launch turned some off.
