TIPS AND TRICKS: INFINITY TIME

Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 came packed full of unexpected surprises, and among them is the new Infinity Time! The story of PvZGW2 builds up to this awesome battle, giving players the chance to pilot massive robots designed by Zomboss and Crazy Dave - depending on whether players are Team Plant or Team Zombie, of course. The battle is Bigger. Badder. Bigger than anything before, and incredible unlockable rewards are up for grabs.

If you're looking for more tips and tricks to master Infinity Time, ZEROxFUSIONZ has you covered:

What's the most amount of shards you've collected so far? What's been your best reward?

Those six characters you speak of so casually are some of the strongest in the game and therefore should not be easy or in your case CONVENIENT (save my shards) to obtain.  Infinity is a proper and appropriate way to obtain them.  If it were up to me, you wouldn't be able to get ANY legendary/party pieces from the sticker shop.  As I've said before, infinity time is the first real challenge in Garden Warfare. Its not about the difficulty, its about the infrastructure. This mode does not award you for just playing in it as you would for completing a G&G or vanquish session.

You have to "win" so to speak or progress far enough.  You can't sit back and let your team do everything while you shoot in the air and expect to collect coins at the end.  I expect the devs to add more modes like this in the future as the implement more variant types and abilities.  Everything can't be bought in the sticker shop.

Friend I think you sort of have your priorities ar a bit skewed (in gaming at least anyway). I feel sorry for you that other people can obtain some legendary characters through packs, that must really grate on you, people of such CONVENIENCE, actually having fun. That's the whole point of GW. Its CAUSAL, it doesn't pretend to be anyhting else, well that is except it tries hard (and fails miserably) at copying other games with it Infinity mode. "Its not about the difficulty its about the infrastucture" what even the frig does that even mean. GW is CASUAL, it is coperative, it's rewards are cumulative, its spose to be family friendly (that is its meant for even little kids to play). Infinity mode goes against everything GW is or rather was. To my way of thinking its the biggest mistake the dev have made. You dont win in GW, you never were meant to. Are you really going to accuse me of being one of the sign shooters, you dont even know me. Pretty cheap shot for a cheap arguement. If the dev keep going down this path as you encourage them too, then GW is doomed - seen it before in so many other games before.

Well, I just want to point out that GW and GW2 both have an ESRB rating of 10+, but I see where you are going.  However, I must say that he's right that you should have to work to obtain rewards, because if you don't then it gets boring, but I do believe that if they added the option to reduce the difficulty but at the same time reduce the value of the shards (i.e. easy mode you need 30,000, normal you need 25,000, hard you need 20,000, and CRAAAAAZY you need 15,000 to unlock a legendary piece.  However I must disagree with you that infinity time takes away.  It gives storyline, background, and meaning to the world that garden warfare takes place in (the "gnomiverse" and how the gnomes control everything), it adds something to work towards, and helps everything in the game connect (the gnomes made the multiplayer portals, the gnomes made the atoms, and so on.  But don't be fooled, I've never made it past wave 9 on my own.

  • Infinity mode is very easy it only gets boring

lose on wave 16 to get the tralala chest, lose on wave 21 to get the amazing twiddle chest, and get 25k shards to get the infinity infinity chest.

Co-op mode for infinity mode is way harder than playing solo but it pays off with only 1 person paying.

The best way i use the laser is hold for 3 seconds tap, tap, tap,... hold for 3 seconds again.

When the giant gnome is going to use his laser run to him and spin so he can hit you but you wont take any damage and he will stand still for a few seconds enough time to kill him.

Also item drop is not broken I gotten all the plant assessors and only need like 25 more for the zombies by making it to wave 21.

This mode is terrible in every way. No replay value. Bad rewards system. Just bad.

@NicTheGOAT no argument there, on the bright side it's very easy albeit time.consuming.
