To start PVZ Garden Warfare, we need to connect to Xbox Live. (0x87de2714)
Hi,
Starting today I am unable to open PvZ: Garden Warfare on Xbox One. I get the following error message when I try to start the game from Xbox Home: "To start PVZ Garden Warfare, we need to connect to Xbox Live. Make sure your Xbox is online, then sign in and try again. (0x87de2714)".
As I am typing this, I am talking to two friends who are playing the game just fine. I am clearly connected to Xbox Live and the Internet, so this error is clearly incorrect and makes zero sense. I tried port forwarding my routers and that did not help either.
Unless someone here can provide a solution, I was thinking about uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Will I lose my Multiplayer progress if I do this? Please help me.

Yesterday, throughout the day a lot of Xbox Live services weren't working, probably the worst I've seen it since the Christmas fiasco. I and many friends were encountering this sort of issue on across multiple titles; but its was fairly inconsistent between person to person. You weren't alone though.

These issues have been resolved, so I'd suggest trying again now.
You will not lose any progress by deleting the game, as it's saved server side.
