Torchwood and Hover Goat question

How come you cant customize Torchwood and Hover Goat?

My guess is to minimize the work it took to add them. If they could be customized they would require new abilities, a boat load of cosmetics and the work needed to add all of that. For a class they outright said would not be getting variants that is a great deal of work. (Especially since maintaining GW1 and fixing game breaking bugs in GW2 is apparently too much effort.) In short, far too much work for little to no pay off. (Which as a player sucks but as a company is just common business.)

  • For hover goat there are skins and even a variant in the files in the game. They're just never getting released for whatever reason. So the work has indeed already been put in, it's just not getting released.
  • They never gave a reason that I recall just stated they won't get any which is disappointing although I feel @Final_Zidaneis almost certainly correct about why we don't have customizations for them. I'd love to put the everlasting crown on the goat for example!

The fact we have no variants is disappointing too. A toxic torchwood called Poison Oak would be perfect!

Yeah that was the reason I was thinking as well, I just wanted to make sure I was not missing out on something. Hopefully in GW3 they become fully fleshed out characters 🙂.

P.S That Poison Oak torchwood sounds sick, great idea!
