Unable to connect to EA servers on log in screen

The problem I am having is that whenever i try and play the game that i got on week of founders it doesn't work. Let me explain exactly whats happening, when i launch the game and then see the loading screen everything seems fine at first so i press enter so it can load into the game but no that's not what it does, it goes to the pvz bfn loading screen with the sunflower in the corner and loads for a little bit and then the sunflower seems to freeze and then sends me right back to the menu saying unable to connect to ea servers. I know some people are able to play the game but i know for sure that a lot of people are having this same problem and just want to play the game like me cause they haven't been able to since they bought it. I'm just wondering if this problem will ever get fixed or tell me how to fix it cause its been going on since the game has came out I've tried all of the solutions that i saw online, that people told me and even what the EA help told me to do but none of it worked at all. I hope that this gets fixed cause it is basically a waste of money since i cant even play it
