Unable to connect to multiplayer - black screen of death

Hi -

I've recently started playing GW1 again.  I'm experiencing a persistent issue trying to enter multiplayer games in the last two days.  After I'm told a server has been found, I only get the black loading screen with the daisy in the corner.  I can hear players' mics on occasion.  I've tried waiting up to five minutes before quitting and restarting the app.  I've experienced this issue on occasion with GW2, but never frequently and never persistently.  I have been unable to join a game a G&G for two days.  Mostly I've also had the same issue with team vanguish, but I've been able to get into a game once.

I've tried deleting the app with no success.  I'm on PS4 and my gamer tag is micushing.  @EA_Archi, I've noticed you are active here on the GW1 forum, do you have any advice?

    I've had this problem too. Just about ready to delete the game.

    Same problem as all here. Went through two calls with EA, last one yesterday. Last suggestion was back up all data, do steps 6 and 7 in safe mode

    see what happens. didn't work last night, same black screen and flower. tried this morning and was able to play Gnome Bomb. Went there this

    afternoon, got into game, I was only player. Just tried and was able to play. Don't know if it a fix from EA or what they had me do. Anyone else able to play now?
