Unable to Download (Original) Plants vs Zombies on Xbox 360

I was wondering why I cannot download the original Plants vs Zombies through Games with Gold on xbox 360. I spoke to an xbox community ambassador and he said its because there are no EA servers in my region. Is this true? If so, why was I able to purchase Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and play it without any issues whatsoever? I can't understand this!? Games with Gold on Xbox Live are only available for free until the 15th of that specific month and I would really love to take advantage of that deal!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!! (My region is South Africa, keeping in mind that I can and still play Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare on very frequent occasions without any issues.)
