I dont know if this is an old Rux-thing or if it hasnt come out yet. I thought it would be in this Rux event.
But it seems Rux is completely random. I bought the Koala of Darkness this round but someone else got something totally diffrent.

My impression is that the developers can set a particular selection of items to be offered, like they did when the new Frontline Fighters DLC launched and everyone had a piece of one of the new characters offered, but lacking that guidance Rux seems to have a particular random element- his visits are spaced too far apart for me to have noticed yet if the random element tends towards offering certain rarities or certain types of items each time around or if it's purely random.
It hasn't come out yet. PC players have been showing off a lot of new things Rux is selling that's already in the game but just hasn't been sold by rux yet. There are quite a few "Bling" abilities, A new citron shield, the vamp chomper weed, And new PVZ heroes hats that still aren't obtainable.
I don't know why these have to be drawn out for as long as possible since Rux only comes once a month and only sells one main exclusive item to everyone. Chances are if it's sold by rux and is in the game then you'll notice a lot of PC players having it early and showing off what it does.
Btw yes Rux is random but he'll always sell the same abilities/legendary items to everyone the day he comes while the rest of his items are random. I think the only time his legendary items aren't the same is when it comes to the legendary potted plants/robots because i seen someone using one for the zombies side yet most people i've seen got the Monk Choy.

Because as I said I was able tp buy the Koala of Darkness for my Rose, and ppl that made youtube videos about the latest Rux didnt have this hat at all.
Could it be diffrent between PC and Consol maybe?

That's because her hat isn't legendary exclusive to Rux and can be earned from packs. As i said he will sell 1 item that will be the same for everyone (on all systems yes) while the rest is random stuff that you currently do not own

So it seems the special item this round was some kind of potted thing. Ive seen a few diffrent ones now that ppl have bought.
